Visual Understanding Environment Review
Visual Understanding Environment (VUE) is a tool for managing and integrating digital resources in support of teaching, learning and research. It is an open source project based at Tufts University, you can download and use it for free. The software is available for multi platform including Windows, Mac and Linux. VUE provides a flexible visual environment for structuring, presenting, and sharing digital information. To download software, you need to create an account at VUE website.
At official website there is Gallery section, VUE community of users and thinkers, where you can find map sample and showcase from other users. Those files are also available to download.
