I bought the Mac version. Can’t comment on how it works yet because it wont install, it says it needs admin privledges to install when logged in as root! What a joke, tried contacting the company and waited on hold over an hour, sent them an email and have not heard back, overall looks like a great program, if I dont hear back from them in a few days it will be returned.

this program wont fricken install my child needs to practice for her middle school and she cant cause this thing wont work!!!! DONT BUYYYY !!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally figured it out: I did a control click on the Installer.app icon, showed package contents,copied contents onto hard drive, opened contents folder then opened Resources->installscript.plist in the Property Editor (just double click on it), and changed “Require Admin” to FALSE and saved the file.

We have installed on our Mac only to get a black screen when we open program. Help!
No response from Tech Support yet.
I did not understand the solution above–did solution work for a Mac.

Niki’s solution does in deed work wonderfully. I wanted to write a post for those who are not as computer literate cause it took me forever to figure out niki’s puzzle.
So her solution includes opening up the install scriptplist thing in something called PropertyListEditor. this “program” is available to you on the dvd that was given to you when you bought your computer and has your OS X software on it. intall xcode or whatever the name was which is found under optional installs on the dvd. and then do what Niki says …
took me forever but i finally got this thing working … thank you niki.
