T2 software calculation in Schedule 40 has program errors. Part 6 Analysis of balance of losses
is not working properly and the closing balances do not change. Spent hours to figure this out and it was finally verified by the programer himself who was nice to call me. I was then promised a call back for refund which never came. Calling back myself I was put through procedure, which I don't have time for. Spend enough time on TaxTron already, if they are really so desperate to keep my money, then be it. Just wondering how they got government approval for T2 tax software which doesn't work at least in some areas and that makes you wonder about what else is not working.

I've used the software for 4 years. Two years ago they introduced new software. This year's version is so full of bugs I can't complete any tax returns.

Boxes greyed out. Initial version saved to a location it didn't have permission to save, so you had to manually set the permissions. The update fixed that but didn't fix the issue for people upgrading.

They offered me a free license.. I wish I could use it. The software is just too buggy... not withstanding very difficult to navigate

I had lot of problems when I tried to link my wife's information. At the end, the Netfile was rejected by CRA. TaxTron customer support is horrible. They told me I was the first person in Canada to report this issue and I won the lottery. Actually a lot of people had the same experience as mine. They couldn't solve this kind of simple problems and never get back to me. Seems they don't care at all. I will NEVER user their product.

This software is absolute crap. Impossible to navigate, I keep finding myself at dead ends with no way to continue - no on-line support and the "help" tab isn't working.. Junk, junk, junk. I'm extremely pissed off that I paid good money for this programme. Now I have to go out and buy a programme that actually works!

The mac version is full of bugs. Over the years they have made no effort to make it compliant with the mac look and feel.
This thing is a piece of crap. Don't use it, don't buy it.
