SHOWOFF Virtual Designer Review
SHOWOFF Virtual Designer is a photo based and free landscape design software program. It is a free software version of Imagine Pro Suite from Visual Applications, Inc. This company provides this free edition with fewer features than its professional product. SHOWOFF Virtual Designer is designed for homeowner, landscaper with basic design needs.
However, you can have some fun with the program. You can open image from various sources including an existing model picture, photo from your computer, image from internet or using web cam. After open the image, you can start design your landscape by using drag and drop feature. You can add plants by choosing from built-in image library. You can also resize, copy, rotate, flip, send back, cut out and zoom in and out the plants. With more enhancing features, you can add shadow, grow plant and set hardiness zone for plants that grow in your area. After completing your design, you can save as well as print your project.
You can found various images for your landscaping design by browsing in image library within the software. The image is breakdown through catalog, category and item list. There more than 10 catalog images including landscape plants, kids entertainment, pools, manufactured stone, decks, fences, fountains, lighting, pictures and frames, planters and pots, spa and hot tubs, statuary, retaining walls, sunrooms and decorative items.
