Installation took a while. After installed I tried to capture video. Tried to set the path and was promptly rewarded with an application crash. This was repeated several times, It defaults to documents/video and document/music on C:/ drive it could probably be edited in the registry but not in the software using either the path field or using the modify button. It appears that very little effort went into V&V of the software interface and user testing. The capture usb device actually did bring in video but it was very grainy even when set for the highest resolution and I did not succeed in capturing any sound and I was using a S-video cable. Software gets a 2 out of 5 and hardware a 3 out of 5. (My basic impression is that the software is junk and I would not purchase from Roxio again.)

I have installed & reinstalled it on two different computers – it constantly crashes. I thought about updating to faster processor/graphics card, but after reading a review on Amazon by computer guru who did same & still couldn’t make it work either I am relegating it to the trash can.
