This edition is designed to provide solution for home based business that needs only basic accounting features. With this free bookkeeping software solution, you can track sales and expenses for up to 20 customers, instantly create invoices, pay bills, and print checks, organize your finances in one place, tax ready.
This basic accounting version is available under Windows operating system. You can download and use for free. You need to fill out form with your email address before you can download the software. Besides this free edition, there are several QuickBooks Accounting software packages which have more advanced accounting features available for small business.

I worked with quickbook program before just need some more experience. I am looking forward to create my own business so therefore I chose quickbooks. It seem to be quite easy and fun to use. Its seems to be a very good accounting program so far by what i read.

I work for a small non profit and already have an accounting program in place. We want to print ON our checks from the bank instead of using a typewriter. Can we use this free edition for that?
