Paragon Backup & Recovery Free Edition Review
Paragon Backup & Recovery Free Edition is one of popular free backup software programs available for you to download and use at no cost. It provides useful tools for you to backup and restore data to prevent from losing important document. The program also provides you partition and hard disk management facilities including partitioning and formatting hard disks. Let find out a bit more detail about the program. With Disk View feature, you can see the detail about selected drive such as volume letter and label, file system, used and free space, sectors per boot and cluster and several more.
Backup and Disk or Partition function provides you ability to backup any combination of hard disk drives or partitions. It wills guide you along with backup wizard. There are several ways the Wizard can store your data including Save data to local/network drives or burn the data to CD or DVD (if its size exceeds CD/DVD capability, it will be automatically split to several volumes and will be prompted to insert a new disc for each volume). You can also schedule back your disk or partition whether by once, at the start up, daily, weekly or monthly with specific time to perform the action. You can generate unique names for schedule backups.
The program runs on Windows platform including Windows 7, Vista and XP with both 32bit and 64bit system. You can download and use it for free, but you need a free serial. During the installation, the program will ask for free serial license. To get the serial, you need to register an account at its official website by clicking on get free serial button. Then fill out a short form with name, email address and country. After submitting your request, you will get an email with product key and serial number.

I was really surprised that paragon backup & recovery can make a full backup of my desktop computer with a very good speed. The boot recovery/restore CD works great and it’s nearly as fast as doing it from within windows. It only takes about several mins to create/restore my 3GB (used) win partition.
