Notepad++ Review
Notepad++ is a free source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages. The program runs on Windows operating system. It released under General Public License (GPL). The software is based on a powerful editing component Scintilla, Notepad++ is written in C++ and uses pure Win32 API and STL which ensures a higher execution speed and smaller program size. It is available in multi-language environment supported including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Hebrew. The program has several styles such as Ruby Blue and Vibrant Ink available to download and use. You can use these style the make program look and feel of your needs. There are various plug-ins available for extending the capacity of the program which you can also download and use at no cost.
Highlight Features
- This editor allows you to your own language, not only the syntax highlighting keywords, but also the syntax folding keywords, comment keywords and the operators.
- With auto-completion, for most supported languages you can make your own API list which you can download the API files from download section.
- Multiple tap support, this feature allows you to edit several documents at the same time, just like you found this feature in modern web browser.
- The program also provides multi-view feature which allows you have two views at same time. That means you can visualize two different documents at the same time.
- With drag and drop feature, you can open a document or move your document from a position to another by drag and drop.
