Macfusion Review
Macfusion is an open source and free FTP client for Mac developed by Michael Gorbach. It brings servers from across the internet directly to your Mac computer. Your files and documents appear as a “Volume” in Finder, and you can work with them using your favorite Mac applications, such as Word, Photoshop, TextMate or Dreamweaver. Macfusion can connect to the following types of servers Secure Shell (SSH) and File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The program is simple and easy to use.

This is BY FAR the buggiest program I have ever downloaded. It barely works. It’s the only program that has every frozen finder on my macbook pro to the point where it required a hard restart. And it does this often.
On the plus side there is not competition that I know of. If you want a program that can mount an ssh connection to your computer like its a local volume that has a GUI then there is no other.
