Komodo Edit Review
Komodo Edit is a free multi-language editor by ActiveState Software. The software supports wide range of program languages including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, Tcl and template languages like RHTML, Template-Toolkit, HTML-Smarty and Django. This program provides all necessary standard editing features such as incremental search, reflow paragraph, join lines, code commenting, auto-indent and outdent, block selection, repeat next keystroke and clean line endings and more.
This editor is available for multiple platforms including Windows, Mac and Linux operating system. Komodo Edit is built on the Mozilla code base and is now licensed under the same terms as Firefox Mozilla Public License (MPL), GNU General Public License (GPL), and GNU Lesser Public License (LGPL). Therefore you can download and use it for free of charge.
Besides this free edition, there is a fully functional edition call Komodo IDE which have more advanced features such as Debugging,
Interactive Shells, HTTP, Inspector, Code Browser, SCC Integration, PDK Integration, DOM Viewer, HTTP Inspector. But that edition is not free.
