Kdenlive Review
Kdenlive is a free and open-source video editor for GNU/Linux and FreeBSD. The developer considers that Kdenlive should be used by video amateurs as well as advanced users from basic video editing to semi-professional work. It offers a complete solution from capturing, editing to publishing videos.
The program allows you to capture video from any source including DV, HDV or AVCHD camera; manage your media in a project tree; organize your media using folders and comments; drag and drop media from the project tree to the timeline; add effects and transitions; export the final film into various video formats such as mpeg, avi, dv, flash, mov and more. - 32bits or 64bits computers with a modern Processor.
- A fast hard disc with more that 20Gb of free disc space.
- A firewire interface for camcorder capture.
- At least 1Gb of RAM.
- Screen size : 1024×768 or more.

- Three SATA disc for RAID-5 usage.
- A recent video card with dual display.
