Jing Free Version Review
Jing is a screen capturing and recording software program by the TechSmith Corporation. It allows you to capture in both image and video, then upload and share with your friend and other people. There are two versions available Free and Pro. With free version you can download and use software for free with several features available including: screen capture and editing in PNG format, 5 minutes of screen recording with screencast.com “Free Account” 2GB of storage / bandwidth for online sharing. Jing Pro is the premium version, which offers more flexibility and customization options. With Jing Pro you can record webcam video, deliver HD quality video for the web, remove Jing branding from your newly recorded content, and share your screencasts on popular online video sites like YouTube.
The software takes a picture or video of your computer screen and uploads it to the Web, FTP, computer or clipboard. After uploading to screencast.com the URL is automatically created and can be shared with other people to view or access the uploaded file. Users are required to sign up for an account before using the software. Jing is available for both with Macintosh and Windows. The software is simple and easy to use.
