IKEA Home Planner Review
IKEA Home Planner is a free interior design software program from Inter IKEA Systems B.V. This tool provides interior design solutions including Kitchen Planner, Office Planner and Bedroom Planner. It is a simple and easy to use program which allows you to design and decorate kitchen, home office and bedroom with build-in furniture and accessories. The program comes with three views includes Design Rome, Furnish and 3D View.
Design Room view, you can choose different sharp of room and set room measurements. You can also add some detail to room including door, window, inner wall, freestanding inner wall, radiator, ventilation, electricity, water and gas.
In Furnish view, you can start furnishing your room with IKEA products. The furniture is classified into three main group kitchen & dinning, workspaces and bedroom. There are thousands of them and breakdown into multiple levels, you can simple add to your room by drag any prefer object and then drop it into your design project.
With 3D View, you see your design from different angles by clicking and holding down the arrow button. You can also zoom in and zoom out to have a closer look.
With Item List feature, you can see detail about furniture you have added into the design project with product no, description, quantity as well as price.
You can rearrange and try different styles until you are satisfied with the result. After completing your design, you can save it on your computer or save it straight onto the IKEA server so that you can pick it up at your nearest IKEA store.
