Google SketchUp Review
Google SketchUp is a free 3D modeling software solution from Google Inc. Google SketchUp is not really software which design specific for landscaping design but using the software for landscape design is possible. With the program, you can design just anything that you can imagine including design landscape for your house; redecorate your living room; design a new piece of furniture; model your city for Google Earth; create a skate park for your hometown and more. The program is available for both Windows and Mac users.
There are various video trainings available for you learn. Especially if you are new to building 3D models with Google SketchUp, the video tutorials are a great way to get started. They range from basic to more advanced topics, and are best watched in the order that they are listed. You can find all video training here.
You can build models from scratch by using what other already created. Google 3D Warehouse is a place where people all over the world share what they have made. There many models available out there, you can also search repository of models. It is also available for free of charge.
Google also offer full featured 3D design product for modeling, visualization and collaboration works, Google SketchUp Pro. The pro version has more advanced features and it is paid version. You have to purchase a license in order to use it.
