Genie Backup Manager Review
Genie Backup Manager is data backup software from Genie-Soft Corporation. The company provides wide range of backup software solution from home user to large enterprise:
- Genie Backup Manager Home edition is for home and small office user.
- Genie Backup Manager Pro edition is for small and medium business.
- Genie Backup Manager Server is for enterprise business.
What we are going to review here is home edition.
Among many other backup programs, Genie Backup Manager is the popular one with user friendly interface and easy to use. With the program, user has flexibility for data backup whether by My Profile (backup important items including Emails, Favorites, Windows Settings, Desktop files and folders etc), My Folders (files are group by folders and drives like Windows Explorer interface) and My Plugins (Backup important programs).
The software provides two schedule modes, basic schedule and advanced schedule. The user can set schedule for data backup whether by hour, daily, weekly, or monthly. The software also provides simple tutorials including backup and restore process for new user which never has experience with the program.
