Avidemux Review
Looking for free video making application for Mac platform, Avidemux is one of them. Avidemux is a free open source video editing software program developed by Mean. It is a simple and easy to use video editor, has clean and straightforward user interface, and available for multiple platforms including Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, Linux and BSD. The program released under the GNU General Public License.
The program is designed for simple cutting, filtering and encoding tasks on AVI, DVD compatible MPEG files, MP4 and ASF. It provides basic video editing features. The program was written from scratch by Mean, but code from other people and projects has been used as well.
Support File Formats
- Input: AVI, OpenDML, MPEG, ASF, NuppelVideo, H.263(+), MPEG-4, QuickTime, 3GP, MP4, OGM, Matroska, Flash Video.
- Output: AVI, MPEG video, MPEG-2 PS, MPEG-2 TS, OGM, MP4, Matroska, Flash Video.
