It's good on protection & provides regular updates with no problem at all. Only disadvantage of AVG that I've noticed is that it requires up-to-date computer's hardware requirements, I mean it's not light weight. I don't treat this disadvantage lightly because not every user need a machine with latest configuration but everyone require protection from viruses. AVG is an AntiVirus I always appreciated. Since I have installed the free edition of AVG I haven't found any virus on my laptop. Now I do not need anymore to format my hard-disk from time to time because of viruses.
