Artweaver Review
Artweaver is a freeware photo editing software by Boris Eyrich. Artweaver provides essential tools for photo enhancement, brush painting. The software is available in English, Spanish and German version and other languages files. With the program, user can perform editing task including brush paint, adding text, apply effects, cropping image, color adjustment, changing image size, image rotation.
Artweaver Highlight Features
- Multiple digital brushes support such as chalk, charcoal, pencils.
- Standard image editing tools like gradient, crop, fill and selection tools.
- Transparency and Layers support.
- Effect filters like sharpen, blur, emboss and mosaic.
- Support for the most common file formats like AWD , BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, TGA, TIFF, PNG, and PSD.

It appears it can load and save .psd (native Photoshop) files, but i haven’t tested it with enough pictures to determine anything. The program’s “preferences” dialog is similar to Photoshop itself.
