This free edition provides user basic protection features including Ad-Watch Live! Basic, Rootkit Removal System, Detect, remove AND Repair, External Drive Scanning, Lavasoft SmartSet, Automatic Updates, TrackSweep, Background Scanning. It offers basic protection against spyware.
While the company provides this free edition, it also offers two more versions as Ad-Aware Pro and Ad-Aware Plus which have more features including Anti-Virus Protection, Protection against unknown and emerging threats, Behavior-Based Detection and Free Technical Support.
The software has well designing and user friendly interface. You can download and use it for free of charge. Ad-Aware Free is available for Windows operation system.
